A member of the Aceh Regional House of Representatives (DPRA), Ihya Ulumuddin, has distributed assistance packages consisting of basic necessities and business support tools to the residents of Simeulue Regency. The symbolic handover ceremony took place at the Simeulue Regent's Residence on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
The assistance, funded through the 2026 fiscal year Pokok Pikiran (Pokir) allocation, was witnessed directly by the Regent of Simeulue. The aid provided included staple food packages, kitchen equipment, and sewing machines aimed at fostering economic independence among local residents.
"Today, we are handing over assistance in the form of basic food packages, kitchen equipment, and sewing machines for our people in Simeulue," Ihya Ulumuddin stated.
He expressed hope that the distributed aid would deliver tangible benefits and help boost the economy of the Simeulue community.
