The condition of Jessica Sofia Tunardjo, a 10th-semester student at the Faculty of Public Health, Nusa Cendana University (Undana), is reportedly improving. Previously, Jessica had to receive care at Wirasakti Hospital in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, after suffering from depression when her thesis defense was canceled 12 times.
This positive update was shared directly by the Deputy Governor of NTT, Johni Asadoma, during his visit to Jessica at the hospital on Monday (3/8/2026). Johni observed firsthand that Jessica's condition is now much calmer and healthier.
"Earlier, I visited our daughter, Jessica. Her condition has been getting much better, more cheerful, and healthier," Johni said.
Johni expressed confidence that Jessica can soon make a full recovery from her depression. He hopes the student will fully recover shortly, both physically and mentally.
