Aceh Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ruddi Setiawan received a delegation from PT PLN (Persero) Northern Sumatra Development Main Unit (UIP Sumbagut) in Banda Aceh on Tuesday (4/8/2026). The meeting aimed to strengthen synergy in maintaining power supply reliability and ensuring the smooth development of electricity infrastructure across the Aceh region.
During the meeting, the Aceh Regional Police pledged its full commitment to supporting security within the electricity sector. This security backing targets national vital objects as well as various ongoing national strategic projects in Aceh.
Through this close cooperation, the police force and PLN hope that all power projects can proceed smoothly without security disruptions. This step is crucial to ensuring that the electricity supply needs of the people of Aceh are properly fulfilled.
