The phenomenon of young people allegedly sniffing glue around the Lamnyong Bridge area in Banda Aceh has drawn serious concern from the Banda Aceh Regional People's Representative Council (DPRK). The Banda Aceh City Government has been called upon to take immediate and concrete action to resolve the social issue.
Concerns regarding the issue were raised by the Chairman of Commission III of the Banda Aceh DPRK, Royes Ruslan. He stated that the prevalence of such deviant behavior in public spaces serves as a warning sign that must not be ignored.
The situation is considered a serious threat to the safety and future of the younger generation. Therefore, the DPRK urged a comprehensive response involving local government officials and all elements of society to tackle the glue-sniffing phenomenon at its roots.
