The Banda Aceh City Government officially inaugurated Dr. Emeraldha, M.Kes., as the definitive Director of RSUD Meuraxa in Banda Aceh. The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony was led directly by the Mayor of Banda Aceh, Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal, at the Mawardy Nurdin Building Hall on Monday (3/8/2026).
The event marked the beginning of a new leadership era at the local government-owned referral hospital. This step was taken as a concrete commitment by the Banda Aceh City Government to overhaul and strengthen the quality of healthcare services for its citizens.
In her address, Illiza emphasized that the healthcare sector remains a top priority for the city government. With the appointment of the new definitive director, the Banda Aceh City Government expects RSUD Meuraxa to provide faster, more responsive, and high-quality medical services to all patients.
