Gampong Pande, known as a historic area in Banda Aceh, is taking a unique approach to safeguard the future of its younger generation. The village is nurturing human values and local history through character education programs and the construction of a village museum.
Currently, the Gampong Pande Museum building is undergoing renovation. Upon completion, the museum will showcase various historical artifacts that bear witness to the local village's long journey.
Beyond focusing on heritage from the past, Gampong Pande is also nurturing the younger generation from an early age. One unique activity being conducted is a parent foot-washing program, aimed at instilling devotion and respect for parents among children.
