BANDA ACEH — The Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) held the 2026 Aceh Working Area Community Oil Well Forum (FORSUMA) in Banda Aceh. The three-day event, running from July 28 to 30, 2026, was organized in collaboration with the Directorate General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and SKK Migas.
The event was held as a concrete step to reform and strengthen the governance of traditional community oil wells. Through this forum, stakeholders aim to ensure that local oil mining activities operate safely, legally, and in an environmentally sustainable manner.
FORSUMA 2026 brought together various stakeholders directly involved in the oil and gas sector. Participants included government officials, Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), cooperatives, and MSMEs projected to participate in the community oil well management chain.
