PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) has joined forces with Danantara Indonesia to drive local economic progress. Both entities are focusing on building an integrated empowerment ecosystem for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across various regions.
Under this initiative, BSI is doing more than just disbursing business capital. The country's largest Islamic bank is also providing various supporting facilities to help local business owners grow professionally, enhance their bankability, and expand their market reach.
To support these targets, BSI has established on-the-ground mentoring infrastructure. This effort is realized through the operation of 35 MSME Centers, the presence of BSI UMKM Centers, and the creation of 23 BSI Villages across Indonesia.
Through this integrated ecosystem, BSI and Danantara expect MSMEs to continually grow and serve as the main pillar of the grassroots economy.
