The South Aceh Care Forum (For-PAS) highlighted issues surrounding the distribution of business capital assistance by Baitul Mal Aceh on Sunday (4/8/2024). The organization pointed out alleged significant unfairness and disparities in the allocation of recipient quotas across regencies and cities in Aceh Province.
For-PAS Chairman Teuku Sukandi stated that his group had obtained information from several reliable sources showing a highly significant gap in the number of business capital aid recipients between regions.
In light of these conditions, For-PAS urged Baitul Mal Aceh to maintain transparency and immediately evaluate its aid distribution system. This evaluation is deemed essential to ensure that the distribution of business capital assistance becomes more equitable, proportional, and truly responsive to the needs of local communities.
