Region III Inspector of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Mulyadi Nurdin, visited the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Regional Office and the Yogyakarta Special Region Hajj Dormitory on Tuesday (4/8/2026). The visit aimed to directly monitor the asset transfer process while checking the readiness for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.
This oversight focuses on the transfer of assets previously managed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The step was taken to ensure that all facilities and infrastructure in Yogyakarta are ready to support the new agency's operational needs.
Furthermore, the field inspection serves as initial assistance and a risk mitigation measure. The government hopes early and strict oversight will prevent technical or administrative issues, allowing the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage to run smoothly and comfortably for pilgrims.
