The Southwest Aceh (Abdya) Regency Government has ensured that the local rice supply remains secure and sufficient. This assurance follows an unannounced inspection of several food supply locations conducted by Abdya Regent Safaruddin on Tuesday (8/4/2026).
During the visit, Safaruddin inspected several key sites, including the Perum Bulog Blangpidie Branch Warehouse, local traditional market areas, and rice milling factories. The measure was taken to guarantee the smooth distribution of rice amid high consumer demand.
The local government personally conducted direct field checks to monitor the rice supply chain from upstream to downstream. This proactive approach aims to anticipate food distribution bottlenecks early, ensuring that prices and supply remain stable.
Upon inspecting the Blangpidie Bulog Warehouse, Regent Safaruddin and his entourage were received directly by the local leadership of Perum Bulog to review the available reserve rice stock capacity.
