POPULARITAS.COM – Speaker of the Aceh Regional House of Representatives (DPRA), Zulfadhli, received a courtesy visit from the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati), T. Rahmatsyah, on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The meeting took place at the DPRA Speaker’s official residence in the Blang Padang area, Banda Aceh.
During the meeting, Zulfadhli was accompanied by several DPRA members, including Ayyub Abbas and Hendri Muliana. Also present were Acting Regional Secretary of Aceh Taufik, Head of the Aceh Industry and Trade Office T. Adi Darma, and DPRA Secretary Khudri.
The presence of legislative, executive, and prosecutorial representatives in a single forum highlights the importance of inter-institutional unity in overseeing the administration in Aceh.
Held in the meeting room of the official residence of DPRA Speaker Zulfadhli—affectionately known as Abang Samalanga—the meeting with the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office addressed several strategic issues. These included strengthening governance, law enforcement, and synergy between the prosecutor’s office and legislative and executive bodies.
One key point of focus during the meeting was the importance of transparent and accountable governance. Proper budget management was highlighted as essential to ensuring that development programs truly benefit the people of Aceh.
“We want to strengthen synergy between the prosecutor’s office and the legislature, especially regarding governance and budget oversight,” he said.
He noted that the DPRA, which exercises legislative, budgeting, and oversight functions, requires support from law enforcement agencies. This support is essential to ensure that every government policy and program runs in compliance with the rules.
On that occasion, Zulfadhli also congratulated T. Rahmatsyah on being trusted to lead the high prosecutor’s office in Aceh. As a local native, Rahmatsyah undoubtedly shares the same drive to work together in advancing the region.
