The Aceh Government has moved quickly to resolve the cement shortage in the region. Prompted by Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf, also known as Mualem, the Aceh Government Team pushed PT Solusi Bangun Andalas (SBA) to boost the supply of Semen Andalas to Aceh.
This supply boost aims to ensure that development projects and the needs of the public remain unhindered. Information regarding the additional cement supply was confirmed through a report from the Regional Secretary of Aceh.
"The Governor's directive is clear: the cement supply must be restored immediately so it does not impede development, particularly post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction programs as well as public needs," said Aceh Government Spokesperson Nurlis Effendi in Banda Aceh on Tuesday (4/8/2026).
With this additional supply from PT SBA, cement availability in the Aceh market is expected to return to normal soon, allowing the acceleration of development to proceed smoothly.
