A wooden house owned by Taufik Ulhadi suddenly caught fire in Peukan Seulimeum Village, Seulimeum District, Aceh Besar Regency, on Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately, the blaze did not spread widely or engulf the entire building.
The fire was quickly brought under control thanks to the prompt response of local residents working shoulder-to-shoulder with officers from the Aceh Besar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). Damage from the incident was minimal, destroying only a mattress.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the event. It has been confirmed that there were no casualties or displaced residents as a result of the incident.
