The Wali Nanggroe Institution deployed directly to West Aceh Regency on Tuesday (4/8/2026) to identify the substantive law of customary judiciary. This step was taken to collect various customary rules and norms that remain active and are practiced by the local community.
Through this initiative, the Wali Nanggroe Institution seeks to strengthen the presence of the customary justice system throughout the Aceh region. Customary regulations that have been practiced by residents for generations will be compiled to establish a more structured reference framework.
In addition to preserving traditions, documenting these customary norms is expected to facilitate the resolution of various community issues through a local wisdom approach.
