The Aceh People's Advocacy Foundation (YARA) has officially rotated five Heads of Representatives across several regencies in the Aceh region. This move was taken to strengthen legal aid services to the public while enhancing oversight of local government operations.
The announcement of the reshuffle was delivered directly by the Chairman of YARA, Safaruddin, in Banda Aceh on Tuesday (4/8/2026). This organizational strategy aims to enable the legal aid organization to be closer to the community and respond more effectively to local needs.
Through this leadership refresh at the regional level, YARA hopes that the public oversight function over local government policies can operate more optimally and transparently for the benefit of the wider community.
