Residents and construction players in Aceh recently complained about a shortage of cement. In response to the issue, the Aceh Provincial Government, together with PT Solusi Bangun Andalas (SBA), took swift action to restore cement availability in the market.
As part of the response, PT SBA is boosting cement distribution through two main methods. The company has extended operating hours at its cement filling terminals and brought in additional supplies from outside the Aceh region. This move is expected to rapidly meet the demand for construction materials.
These supply acceleration efforts are being carried out to follow up on directives from the Governor of Aceh, Muzakir Manaf. Restoring cement availability is vital to ensure that various development projects remain uninterrupted, particularly the ongoing post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction programs in Aceh.
