BANDA ACEH — The Regional Leadership Board (DPW) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of Aceh Province has officially organized the Party Leadership School program as a strategic measure to hone the capacity and capability of cadres in the region known as the Veranda of Mecca.
The political education and leadership development event was held in person at Hotel Permata Hati, Banda Aceh, on Tuesday (25/8/2026), attended by party leadership and cadre representatives from the regional-level party structure.
Forging Party Cadre Capacity
The implementation of the Party Leadership School is designed as a formal party instrument to screen and elevate internal leadership standards. During the intensive program, cadres were equipped with transformative leadership insights to prepare them for strategic roles amid evolving societal dynamics and regional governance.
Through a targeted training curriculum, the forum served as an idea-consolidation platform for the Aceh DPW PKS structure to align the party's political vision with growing public needs. The sessions focused on strengthening national awareness, ethical political integrity, and managerial competencies in public leadership.
Three Pillars of Cadre Orientation
In its execution, the Aceh DPW PKS Party Leadership School adopted the core theme of "Leader Cadres, Drivers of Change, Servants of the People." These three key phrases served as a doctrinal guide emphasized throughout the training stages for participants at Hotel Permata Hati.
The 'Leader Cadres' pillar aims to produce figures who possess a forward-looking vision, integrity, and the ability to make decisions during critical moments. Meanwhile, the 'Drivers of Change' pillar urges cadres to avoid passivity and instead proactively initiate social innovation and concrete solutions to challenges faced by communities at local and regional levels.
Furthermore, the 'Servants of the People' pillar reaffirms the core orientation of political work among Aceh PKS cadres to consistently prioritize public interest advocacy. This principle of service is instilled as an essential character trait that must be embodied by every cadre, whether serving in the organizational structure or working within public institutions.
Strengthening Regional Consolidation
The event in Banda Aceh also reaffirmed the provincial capital's role as a center for policy coordination and cadre development for PKS at the regional level. The hosting of the Party Leadership School is considered an integral component of the party's long-term strategy to ensure that leadership regeneration continues in a sustainable and structured manner.
