First Deputy Speaker of the Southwest Aceh Regional House of Representatives (DPRK Abdya), Tgk Mustiari, has called on local residents to choose and consume locally harvested rice. This simple step is believed to significantly strengthen the regional economy.
Tgk Mustiari conveyed the appeal while accompanying Regent Safaruddin on a visit to the Laris Rice Mill located in Gampong Lam Kuta, Blangpidie District, on Tuesday (August 4, 2026).
He stated that higher consumption of local rice would bring a substantial positive impact. These economic benefits would be directly felt by both farmers and rice mill owners throughout the Abdya region.
