Southwest Aceh (Abdya) Regent Safaruddin has confirmed that the rice supply in his region remains secure. This assurance follows his direct inspection of the Perum Bulog Blangpidie Branch warehouse, local markets, and rice mills in the Blangpidie area on Tuesday (4/8/2026).
The inspection was conducted to guarantee food availability and maintain smooth rice distribution for the public. Beyond checking food supplies, this monitoring coincides with calls from the Abdya Regional House of Representatives (DPRK) for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program to prioritize using local rice sourced from regional farmers.
