MAKASSAR — The 46th anniversary celebration of the National Crafts Council (Dekranas) in 2026, held in Makassar, South Sulawesi, served as a strategic platform to strengthen networks and promote local craft products. The event was attended by central Dekranas board members, regional Dekranasda representatives from across the country, and micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) owners from across Indonesia.
As part of the series of events, the Chairwoman of the Aceh Provincial Dekranasda, Marlina Usman, personally inspected the Aceh Dekranasda booth at the Indonesian Dekranasda Crafts and Textiles (Wastra) Exhibition centered at Trans Studio Mall, Makassar, on Thursday (9/7/2026). The inspection aimed to ensure that all featured craft products from Aceh were properly displayed to attract exhibition visitors.
In addition to provincial officials, the Chairwoman of the Aceh Besar Regency Dekranasda, Hj. Rita Mayasari, also attended the opening of the annual celebration. The participation of regional representatives marks a vital momentum in driving the growth of local craft industries and expanding market access for mentored artisans.
Through active participation in the 46th Dekranas Anniversary, inter-regional synergy is expected to grow stronger in advancing culture-based creative economy potential, while elevating various flagship crafts to the national stage.
