Febrie Adriansyah’s Legal Team to File Pretrial Motions Against AGO and Police

Former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah is set to take legal action against the money laundering case brought against him. His defense team plans to file two pretrial motions against the Attorney General's Office (AGO) and the National Police's Corruption Crime Task Force (Kortas Tipikor Polri).

The plan to file the pretrial motions was announced by Febrie's legal team during a press conference at Sentosa Senayan Restaurant in the GBK area, Jakarta, on Tuesday (August 4, 2026).

Led by Firman Wijaya, the defense team is pursuing this legal route to challenge the validity of the legal proceedings and their client's designation as a suspect. The defense maintains that Febrie's legal rights must be openly tested through court pretrial proceedings.

Previously, Febrie Adriansyah, a former high-ranking official at the Attorney General's Office, underwent legal proceedings related to alleged money laundering. This pretrial attempt is expected to ensure that all stages of the investigation conducted by both the AGO and the Police comply with applicable laws.
