Indonesia, Thailand Agree to Jointly Combat Transnational Crime

Indonesia and Thailand have agreed to deepen cooperation to combat cross-border and transnational crime. The agreement was reached during an official visit by Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his delegation to Jakarta.

The bilateral meeting served as a key momentum for both nations to reinforce their long-standing strategic partnership. In addition to discussing joint measures to tackle cross-border crime, the visit also aimed to maintain stability and security in the Southeast Asian region.

Through this close collaboration, Indonesia and Thailand hope to address various transnational crime threats more effectively. This step also reinforces the active role of both countries in fostering a safer and more stable ASEAN region.
