The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Nagan Raya Police has detained a young man identified by his initials AS (23) over alleged sexual violence and violence against a child. The detention of the resident of Tadu Raya District, Nagan Raya Regency, was carried out on Monday (3/8/2026) at around 22:00 WIB.
The legal process and handling of the case are being managed directly by the Women and Children Protection (PPA) Unit under the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit. Authorities made the arrest after finding indications of an alleged crime involving a minor.
Suspect AS is currently being held at the Nagan Raya Police Headquarters to undergo intensive questioning and further legal processing in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
