A theft targeted State Islamic Elementary School (MIN) 50 Bireuen, located in Juli Cot Meurak Village, Juli District, Bireuen Regency. In the incident that occurred on Tuesday (4/8/2026) at around 2:00 a.m. WIB, the perpetrator stole three laptops and four mobile phones belonging to teachers.
Based on footage from two security cameras (CCTV), the thief is suspected to have acted alone. He broke into the teachers' room through a window at the back of the school building.
Once inside the room, the perpetrator redirected one of the CCTV cameras to avoid detection. Nevertheless, his movements were captured before he made off with several valuable items used for teaching at the school.
