A workshop building in Gampong Kuta Ateuh, Sukajaya District, Sabang City, was completely destroyed by fire on Tuesday afternoon (4/8/2026). The disaster engulfed the local business at around 5:18 PM WIB.
Although flames gutted the entire workshop area, fortunately there were no deaths or injuries in the incident. Occupants and local residents managed to escape as the fire grew.
According to data gathered by the Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBA), emergency response was immediately carried out to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. As of now, the exact cause of the fire and total material damages remain under investigation by authorities.
