Residents of Southwest Aceh Regency (Abdya) are urged to exercise extra caution during outdoor activities on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts rain to dominate weather conditions across the region.
According to BMKG monitoring, most parts of Abdya have the potential for heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning or thunderstorms. Out of nine districts in Abdya, five are predicted to be hit by thunderstorms, while the remaining four are expected to see light rain.
Overall, air temperatures in Southwest Aceh Regency are projected to range between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius. Drivers and outdoor workers are advised to prepare for wet conditions and lightning throughout the day.
