The Banda Aceh City Government officially handed over the Draft General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Priorities and Ceilings (RKUA-PPAS) for the 2027 Fiscal Year to the Banda Aceh City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRK). The submission ceremony took place at the council building on Monday (3/8/2026).
Mayor of Banda Aceh, Hj Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal SE, directly presented the budget planning document to the legislative body. This step marks the start of a crucial phase in shaping the city's development and financial trajectory for the upcoming year.
In formulating the 2027 budget, the city government is placing its main focus on strengthening public infrastructure services while optimizing local expenditure. The Banda Aceh City Government is committed to ensuring that city budget spending remains well-targeted, efficient, and provides direct benefits to municipal residents.
Following the submission, the legislature and the city government's budget team will proceed with thorough joint deliberations before the document is officially enacted into the regional revenue and expenditure budget.
