BSI Strengthens MSME Ecosystem as Financing Reaches Rp54.8 Trillion

BSI partners with Danantara Indonesia to empower MSMEs through an integrated ecosystem and Rp54.8 trillion in sharia financing.

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening the country's micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. This initiative aims to enable local entrepreneurs to grow continuously, gain adequate capital access, and penetrate both national and international markets.

To execute this strategy, BSI has partnered with Danantara Indonesia to build an integrated business ecosystem. The support provided extends beyond sharia financing—which has now reached Rp54.8 trillion—to encompass comprehensive empowerment programs for business owners.

These development initiatives include ongoing business mentorship, human resource quality training, halal certification assistance, business digitalization, and market expansion. Through this holistic approach, local entrepreneurs are expected to achieve greater competitiveness.

Management emphasized the vital role of small businesses in sustaining the nation's economy. "MSMEs are the backbone of the national economy," said BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo.

Through this synergy, BSI hopes to consistently offer inclusive sharia financial services while unlocking broader growth opportunities for MSMEs across Indonesia.
