One of the primary concerns felt by the community is an unreasonable spike in cement prices. As a result of the price jump, many property owners and developers have chosen to delay their projects, leaving construction workers without jobs and daily income.
In addition to building material issues, residents are also facing fuel shortages and rising prices for household essentials. The agricultural sector, which serves as the primary source of livelihood for local residents, has also been impacted due to the increasingly expensive cost of farming inputs.
The leadership of Acting Regent of Central Aceh, Haili Yoga, which has been ongoing for two years, is now drawing sharp public criticism. The local government is seen as unable to provide concrete solutions to curb inflation and address commodity shortages in the region.
