The government of Lueng Bata Village, Lueng Bata District, Banda Aceh City, continues to consistently develop the region's potential. Since late 2022, the village administration has initiated an avocado seedling distribution program aimed at 971 local households.
This measure was taken as a long-term strategy to strengthen food security among residents while creating a featured local commodity. The village government hopes that these avocado plants will eventually become a distinct identity or icon leading Lueng Bata toward becoming a self-reliant village.
The Village Head (Keuchik) of Lueng Bata, Kurniawan Putradian, continues to monitor the program's progress so that the distributed seedlings grow optimally in residents' yards. The yield from this planting is expected to bring a positive economic impact to the community in the future.
